Envelope 03

This is the third envelope in the Arquivo Nacional Aero-Espaço (AN-BSB-ARX) FAB declassification series covering the 1955 Araras (São Paulo) case. The two-page form, indexed XVI-CI-017, captures the witness profile of Mario Mathiesen, an agricultor with incomplete ginásio education and no television, who reported the object at 14:00 in 1955 over a fazenda de plantação adjacent to a rice field. Mathiesen described an opaque OANI the color of aluminum, about 30 meters in diameter, shaped like two plates mouth-to-mouth with a central dome. A witness drawing of the disc-and-dome silhouette accompanies the description.
