IPM (Inquérito Policial Militar) Volume 07 (1996)

This is the second volume of an Inquérito Policial Militar opened at the Escola de Sargentos das Armas in Três Corações, Minas Gerais, on March 10, 1997, under Portaria 009-Aj G.2 of January 29, 1997, indicting the book 'Incidente em Varginha.' The volume opens with witness testimony from Lt-Col Olímpio Vanderlei Santos, age 47, Chief of the 13th Conscription Service District, who denies the book's claim that he led the team that captured an extraterrestrial being. The volume also reproduces passages from the indicted publication, including a first-person account attributed to Geraldo Simão Brotera describing a 1962 abduction at the Centro Técnico Aeroespacial in São José dos Campos and narrative reconstructions of the January 1996 Varginha events.
