Unresolved UAP Report, Syria, July 2022
A 14-second dual-sensor clip — infrared on the left, electro-optical on the right — captured from a U.S. military platform over Syria in 2022 and submitted to AARO as an unresolved UAP case. At the five-second mark, an object crosses the upper-right portion of the frame moving right to left, consistent with the accompanying mission report's note that it traveled north to south. CENTCOM's decision to flag and formally submit this footage makes it part of the official unresolved case record — meaning analysts looked at it and didn't close it out.
The United States Central Command submitted a report of an unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP) to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) consisting of 14 seconds of video footage from an infrared (left) and electro-optical (right) sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2022. An accompanying mission report, DoW-UAP-D16, described the UAP as “moving from north to south.”
