The Brazilian Military’s Varginha Files, Now in English

In January 1996, three young women in Varginha, Brazil reported encountering a creature in a field. Small, dark, large head, red eyes. Military trucks showed up. A soldier died. The government said nothing. What did exist was a formal Military Police Inquiry: two volumes, nearly 100 pages of sworn testimony and internal records. None of it had ever been translated into English. We translated both volumes.
